Piwakawaka

At Hui this week these fabulous Room 16 boys were rewarded the piwakawaka from the Enviro group. They got the piwakawaka for looking after our school by picking up rubbish before school and at lunchtime.

Small Sticks Hockey

This month we have been learning hockey skills from Ben our Small Sticks coach.

The King's parcel.

Last week after reading, The Hole in the King's sock, we wrote to the King.
Today we got a parcel in the mail.

 Look what the King sent us. Socks and a letter!

We loved getting a parcel from the King.

Gingerbread Men!

Our big book this week is The Gingerbread Man, so we made our own gingerbread men.

 First we rolled the dough.

 Then we made a sign to go on the oven,we didn't want any running away!

 Then we decorated them. We had yellow, red and blue icing, and 80 jellybeans, 80 marshmallows and 80 M&Ms.
